Contested/Uncontested Divorce

Going through a divorce, whether contested or uncontested, can unfortunately be one of the most difficult and stressful times in your life. It involves disassembling a life that may have taken years to build. Here at Murgolo & Rutigliano, we tailor our representation to fit the needs of the individual client and situation to relieve the stress that your divorce may be causing.

In an uncontested divorce, both parties come to an amicable agreement without court intervention. In a contested divorce, the parties are unable to come to agreement about decisions that include one or more of the following: division of property, child custody and visitation, child support, and/or spousal maintenance (alimony).

It is only natural for parties to disagree about one or more of these issues. There is no one-size-fits-all approach in these matters. Our office will ensure that your goals are met, your future is secure, and your children’s best interests are protected.
